Established in 2022 by two friends, Mike and Richard, FunStay Homes is a family, group-owned, and locally-operated company that welcomes thousands of families each year into our properties. We started off buying and owning our homes because we needed the accommodations that hotels could not provide (full kitchen, privacy, and extra space!). Our inventory continues to grow rapidly and features over 100 of the best luxury vacation home rentals located in the finest vacation resorts. Our team is extremely passionate about creating fun guest experiences while providing great value on vacation stays.

Michael Chen is the co-founder/partner at FunStay Homes and a Florida Licensed Real Estate agent at La Rosa Realty. He is an accomplished manager and investor, offering 20 years of management and investment experience. The last 5 years have been focused on managing and investing in short-term rental properties in the Orlando-Disney area. His passion for growth and success has led him to own eight vacation rentals in the Orlando area. He is also a top-producing real estate agent specializing in vacation homes. He started FunStay Homes out of necessity because he couldn’t find a management company that is efficient at maximizing bookings and excellent in property care. He also founded the company to bring his expertise and help vacation homeowners improve their business by earning 5-star guest reviews and maximizing revenue by optimizing the calendar and rates. Instead of just being your property manager, he wants to be your partner you can trust and rely on so we can make your home a dream home for guests to enjoy year after year. Richard brings 17 years of corporate experience from the largest Fortune 500 companies and brands in the world. He brings experience from helping companies use venture funds to stand up new innovations, has transformed a $300+ million real estate portfolio, and led teams using predictive analytics to solve $1 billion+ losses that stems from client experience retention. He holds a MBA in finance and accounting, executive education in areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, and data analytics. His deep passion for data helps continuously improve the quality of our homes and give the best absolute experience possible to have top tier success across multiple markets. He also regularly invests into real estate personally, and has been a super-host, premier host on multiple online travel agency platforms such as Airbnb/VRBO/Homeaway/Expedia. On his free time, he loves building unique experiences and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and dog as much as he can.
Adam, who considers himself a “Disney Adult”, has a strong and enduring passion for all things Disney. This eventually led him to to investing into the real estate market in Orlando, specifically, near the Disney theme parks and attractions. His success in this industry and deep love for Disney grew into helping other individuals make the most out of their magical vacation. His vast knowledge on the area and short term rentals has led him to become a Superhost and Premier Host on online travel agencies such as AirBnB and VRBO. Adam has a strong set of knowledge in the tourism industry, organization skills, responsiveness, and problem-solving abilities. He also understands the relevance of running a successful hospitality business that relies heavily on clear communication, guest satisfaction and guest related concerns, as well as financial management. He brings a competitive advantage in this industry and looks forward to optimizing your homes performance for long term success.
Joyce Ho is the co-partner of FunStay Homes and a professional host who runs the day-to-day guest communication. She is also an expert in dynamic pricing, so she’s the one who keeps your home optimally priced and fully booked. She spends most of her day ensuring we outperform our competitors by studying the travel market and constantly benchmarking our performance with our top competitors. She understands the most effective way to manage short-term vacation rentals is by looking after your guests from start to finish, answering all their inquiries promptly, providing as much information as possible, and making them feel welcome before checking in until their departure date. Even then, you should follow up with them to ask about their experience. After all, that is the secret to success in the service and hospitality industry, where the customer is king. If your guests are always satisfied, their reviews will do most of the marketing for you to bring more traffic to your property listings.
Arjean has 8 years of experience in real estate and property management, specializing in customer service and administration. She has managed both residential and commercial properties, overseeing long-term and short-term leases. Arjean is dedicated to ensuring every guest has a fantastic and memorable stay by promptly addressing concerns and ensuring everything runs smoothly. She has the ability to multi-task, is keen to expand her knowledge, and is passionate about building positive guest relationships. It’s a pleasure for her to see guests have a great experience. Outside of work, Arjean enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
With over a decade of experience in global customer solutions and 5-years in social media management as well as digital marketing, Khris have honed her expertise in providing excellent customer service as well as creating engaging content, fostering online communities, and driving successful marketing campaigns. She have worked across diverse industries, including real estate, financial technology, hospitality, wellness, and e-commerce, crafting compelling strategies that build brand loyalty and enhance customer experiences. She’s passionate about bringing the magic of vacations rental homes to life, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable stay. Outside her work, she enjoys going on adventures with her kid.
